Scissor lifts

Scissor lifts are used for direct vertical lifting. The mechanism to achieve this is the use of linked, folding supports in a criss-cross 'X' pattern. Most of our scissor lifts also have an extending 'bridge' to allow closer access to the work area, which enables additional horizontal reaching.

For speedy working many of our lifts can also be driven from the working platform. Battery-driven unit with non-marking tires is usually chosen for indoor work. For the outdoors, four-wheel drive, diesel operated unit with hydraulic outriggers is the best choice. In addition, four-wheel steering and the option to use either batteries or the internal engine as a power source is also available.
