Self-propelled booms
Self-propelled boom lifts are useful when maximum horizontal reaching is needed.
As self-propelled boom lifts have no outriggers, they need more stable work site than the trailer mounted boom lifts. For speedy working, the self-propelled units can also be driven from the working platform.
Battery-driven unit with non-marking tires is usually chosen for indoor work. For the outdoors, four-wheel drive, diesel operated unit is the best choice. In addition four-wheel steering, oscillatory axles and the option to use the internal aggregate as a power source are the available.
